Health Fresno is a two-day, free clinic designed to provide medical, dental, and other services to uninsured and low income members of the Fresno community. Last year volunteers set up 40 dental chairs and 20 medical rooms at the event, and this year they are hoping to do more. They are inviting UAPD doctors to join the ranks of volunteers.
Participating providers should sign up soon so that the organizers can purchase malpractice insurance. The sign up form is online.
Providers are responsible for their own hotel accommodations. Below is the information for the hotel where many Healthy Fresno volunteers will stay. The special rate for the event is guaranteed only until March 1st.
