American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) will be hosting its AFSCME People Convention in San Diego, California this upcoming October to make political action plans for the coming year. The UAPD will be sending six delegates to this conference.
The conference will be in San Diego, California on Saturday, October 14, 2023, 7:30 a.m. through 9 p.m., and Sunday, October 15, 2023, 7:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. Pre-convention activities are set for Friday, October 13th, at 3 p.m. for early registration.
To nominate a delegate for this conference, three UAPD members must sign the nomination form and return it to the UAPD headquarters by mailing it to 520 Capitol Mall, Suite 220, Sacramento, CA. 95814, faxing it to (916) 446-3827, or emailing uapd@uapd.com.
The deadline for receipt of the nomination form is Friday, August 11, 2023 at 5 p.m.
