Dear colleagues,
Through our collective strength and incredible solidarity this year, the Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD) faced challenges presented by employers head-on. We are incredibly proud of the resilience and dedication demonstrated by every one of you.
Looking ahead to the new year, the UAPD is committed to continuing our fight. We will be working tirelessly to negotiate fair and equitable contracts that meet the needs of our members. We anticipate organizing more actions and events to connect with our members to provide opportunities for collective action.
Without your participation, our union would not be as strong as it is today and we would not have accomplished all that we have since our founding in 1972.
We urge you to stay informed and engaged in the coming year. Attend union meetings, participate in our campaigns, and reach out to your union stewards and union representatives with any concerns or questions.
Our strength lies in our unity. By working together, we can overcome any obstacle to build a stronger workplace that values the voices of our members.
We hope you all have a joyous and restful holiday season before we kick off the new year.
In solidarity,
Stuart Bussey, MD, JD
UAPD President
