Non-MegaFlex Bonus Update
We are addressing the concerns regarding the second disbursement of the Non-MegaFlex bonus. There is a disagreement with management on the start date. Management believes it should be effective for employees with anniversary dates from June 24, 2024, but the UAPD stands firm that it should be from June 1, 2024.
To resolve this issue swiftly and effectively for our members, our legal team is filing an unfair labor practice complaint. If you believe you may be adversely affected, please contact your union representative immediately – we are here to assist you. We will provide updates as we receive more information from our legal team.
Non-Standard Bonus
Effective January 1, 2025
This bonus offers $25 for every hour worked during a non-standard shift, encompassing the full shift from 7 AM to 7 PM (including any schedule variations).
We are actively discussing with DHS management the application of this bonus to 24-hour shifts. We have also requested that DHS management provide managers with updated information clarifying that the bonus applies to the entire shift.
