For those who aren’t aware, a shooting occurred outside the Parkside clinic on Tuesday afternoon. We are all deeply saddened by the tragic incident that has impacted the community. We recognize that many of you may be experiencing a range of emotions, nothing eases the death of a child and another incident of gun trauma. Compounded with that we learned that one of the victims is the cousin of a member of our staff. Our thoughts are with the families and everyone affected.
Experiencing or hearing about such trauma can be overwhelming, and support is available. We strongly encourage you to reach out to available EAP services if you need someone to talk to or additional support during this time.
We understand that many of you are looking for ways to support the affected family. Information regarding donations will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
