All doctors in UAPD”s Bargaining Unit 16 have been excluded from the new round of furloughs announced by Governor Schwarzenegger on July 28th. The new plan does not impose furloughs on members of the six bargaining units that have ratified tentative agreements with the state. UAPD members ratified their tentative agreement last week, and therefore B.U. 16 will not be furloughed.
