Physicians, dentists, and advanced practice clinicians represented by the Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD) at Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC) made history on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at their first picket in front of NEVHC’s San Fernando Health Center.
Members have been in challenging negotiations with the employer since January 2023 for a fair successor contract. Management is using a negotiator to represent its interests. The UAPD has filed charges against NEVHC and urged leadership to reign in the negotiator’s inappropriate and unprofessional behavior, to no avail.
